Med-X, Inc.'s ("Med-X") green pesticide product division, Nature-Cide, announced today that it has signed a direct distribution deal with one of the nation's leading green-focused pest control service companies, Pestmaster Services. Pestmaster Services, innovators of "Pest Management with Environ-Mentality," has 36 franchises and operates in 15 states.
Pestmaster Services prides itself on using products with the most advanced science to effectively control target pests with either non-toxic or low-toxic EPA ratings. Its goal is to minimize the risk to humans, pets and the environment. The harmonious engagement gives the franchise owners access to support, co-branding opportunities on the trucks, and access to new products from the Nature-Cide catalog. The Nature-Cide brand will now extend its reach into more states in larger service venues like government contracts, municipalities, school districts, hospitals, and large-scale commercial facilities.
"This is a symbiotic partnership for both companies," said the COO of Med-X, Inc., Matthew Mills. "Not many companies take integrated pest management more seriously than Jeff Van Diepen and his team. Our shared obligation to serve our communities makes this a win-win. We know how our products perform and now some of the best in the business are starting to run with them."
Jeffrey Van Diepen founded Pestmaster Services in the small eastern Sierra town of Bishop, Calif., in 1979. The company was born from an earnest concern for the environment and safety, and the company has remained dedicated to providing pest management services with this idea front and center. PCT Magazine ranks Pestmaster as the no. 80 pest control company in the nation (21,000 firms).
"We have been focused on using safe practices since 1979," said Van Diepen. "Nature-Cide is exactly the kind of product line our customers demand that we use. We have tested these products for months and the results are there. We have a shared culture and mission to reduce risk in our communities. The pest control industry is changing and we have positioned Pestmaster Services to be way ahead of the curve when it comes to utilizing and promoting environmentally sound products. This is going to be a fruitful partnership."
The distribution partnership will allow Pestmaster Services to buy directly from Nature-Cide, as well as incentivize the sales channels among the 36 franchises to offer pre-mixed products directly to their customers while expanding both of the companies' footprints nationally. The partnership gives Pestmaster the ability to distribute Nature-Cide directly to its franchisees and other venues, including U.S. government contracts. Both Nature-Cide and Pestmaster Services will be attending PestWorld 2018 in Orlando, Florida., on Oct. 22nd to 26, 2018.
