Kepro Names Joel Portice Chief Executive Officer To Lead Company In Next Phase Of Growth

Franchise Information for Successful Business Ownership

KEPRO, a leading medical management and cost containment solution provider for government and commercial payers in the healthcare sector, today announced that Joel Portice has been named the company's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Portice will lead the Company in its next phase of growth, as KEPRO expands its offerings while remaining committed to its mission of supporting healthcare plans and their beneficiaries. Mr. Portice succeeds Joseph Dougher, who has retired from the company.

Mr. Portice brings to KEPRO more than 20 years of leadership experience in driving business growth in the healthcare information and data analytics space. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Intermedix Corporation, a data analytics and technology provider focused on delivering best-in-class revenue cycle management, practice management, and software solutions. Under Mr. Portice's leadership, Intermedix achieved significant operational efficiencies and meaningful growth acceleration by focusing the business on specific markets, culminating in its sale to R1 RCM Inc. earlier this year.

Prior to his role at Intermedix, Mr. Portice served as President, Government Division and Corporate Development and Strategy, at HMS Holdings Corporation, and before that was President of Verisk Health (now Verscend Technologies). Mr. Portice began his career by founding two different healthcare companies: Integrity Plus Services, which he sold to UnitedHealth Group, and Enclarity, Inc., which was acquired by LexisNexis.

The KEPRO executive team also welcomed Susan T. Weaver, MD in August as the Company's new President. Dr. Weaver will work alongside Mr. Portice to drive the commercialization of new offerings and advance the Company's corporate strategy. She brings more than 20 years of senior leadership in healthcare innovation and operations to KEPRO, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer for innovative medication management company C3HealthcareRx and as Chief Medical Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Andrew Cavanna, Chairman of the KEPRO Board of Directors, commented, "Joel Portice is a seasoned executive with extensive experience growing and developing profitable businesses in the healthcare information and data analytics industry. The Board looks forward to working with Joel, Susan, and the rest of the management team as they continue to support health plans and their beneficiaries and lead the company in its next phase of growth. We would also like to thank Joe Dougher for his more than 25 years of service to KEPRO."

Mr. Portice said, "Over more than two decades, KEPRO has built a strong franchise renowned for its ability to work in partnership with clients to simultaneously increase efficiency and improve patient outcomes. As the Company enters its next phase of growth, I look forward to working with an incredibly talented team to further expand the business and extend our range of offerings."
